The letters of the alphabet originated with the function of conveying speech. Over time type design has given them multiple tones and shades of voice. Now with “Artphabet ‘ they take on a fundamentally visual meaning: any letter - a C, an H, an S - is a form, an imaginative interpretation capable of transforming function into emotion: a process called ’Watching words.” A kind of evolution of the calligram, “a poetic composition designed primarily to be admired, whimsical typographic fantasy of a handcrafted nature capable of creating decorative shapes and designs or bizarre figures.” In each “Artphabet” artwork, each letter is designed with a particular and different design and colors, so it constitutes an original and unique piece, a novel fantasy.
