Artphabetable
A coffee table in the balance

What is the boundary between art, graphics and design? A low coffee table measuring approximately 100 x 60 cm composed of a composition of 20 x 20 cm canvases seems to be able to contain all three elements. A letter of the alphabet, each characterised by a type design and original and different colour combinations, stands out in the centre of each of the 15 canvases that make up the table top. Its structure has the linear essentiality of design combined with Mondrian-inspired colours. Can the result be classified as art? Or as design? Or as graphics? Or, more simply, as an idea?
