Sacred art, a few centuries later

A contemporary remake of the Renaissance altarpieces that we know through the sublime works of Botticelli, Leonardo, Titian..., reworked according to the language that originates in calligraphy and typoetry, with a twentieth-century graphic style, close to Peter Blake, El Lissitzky, Piet Zwart. Letters that materialise, take on body, letters that replace images, as in use in religions that do not envisage figurative representations of sanctity. At the same time, very untraditional letters, letters characterised by an unusual design and extreme colors. A singular expressive code, a mix between Bauhaus and psychedelia, a very unconventional language to represent the sacred, highly innovative, but not at all desecrating.
